Though the name Tolkien is well known among the English-speaking culture, it is still too foreign a term among the Chinese community. This situation, however, has started to change, much owing to the widely spreaded fame of the trilogy movies of The Lord of the Rings. Unfortunately, a Tolkien fan site written in Chinese with dedicated information is still non-existent up to date; thus, the birth of Talking About Tolkien.
